Business and Listing Operator Terms

These Business and Listing Operator Terms apply to farms, producers, food businesses and other sellers that create or manage listings on FarmGateRun. By submitting a listing, you agree to these Business and Listing Operator Terms.
1. Accurate information
You must provide accurate and current information about your business, products, location, opening hours, pickup instructions, prices and availability.
2. Approval
A business-created or claimed listing requires a Business Account and remains subject to FarmGateRun approval. Separately, an owner or authorised representative may confirm no-account publication permission by email for the exact nominated public sources; this permits an administrator-moderated listing but creates no account, claim or management access. A community-contributed listing may also appear publicly before the business claims it. Business management rights begin only after FarmGateRun approves a separate claim. New listings, listing edits, photos, products and product photos may require admin approval before appearing publicly. FarmGateRun may approve, reject, edit, hide or remove content at its discretion.
3. Food safety and legal compliance
You are responsible for complying with all applicable food safety laws, council requirements, registration or notification requirements, labelling obligations, allergen requirements, business laws and tax obligations.
4. Product information
You are responsible for product names, descriptions, photos, prices, seasonal notes, availability and pickup instructions. Do not make false, misleading or unsupported claims.
5. Photos and intellectual property
You must only upload photos and content that you own or have permission to use. By uploading content, you give FarmGateRun permission to display that content on your listing, search results, regional pages, category pages and FarmGateRun promotional material relating to your listing.
6. Customer enquiries
You are responsible for responding to customer enquiries and managing any pickup, sale, booking or communication directly with the customer. FarmGateRun is not responsible for disputes between producers and customers.
7. Prohibited listings
You must not list illegal, unsafe, misleading, offensive or unsuitable products or services. FarmGateRun may remove listings or accounts that breach these Business and Listing Operator Terms.
8. Free business accounts and listings
Creating, claiming and managing standard FarmGateRun listings is free. Standard listings have no charge or checkout step. No payment card, subscription, expiry or plan selection is required. Historical billing or promotion records do not control listing access or public ranking. FarmGateRun does not process a business's customer sales, bookings, event payments or reward discounts.
9. Removal
FarmGateRun may remove or suspend a listing if it appears inaccurate, unsafe, misleading, inactive, non-compliant or damaging to FarmGateRun users or the FarmGateRun brand.

Inclusive listing scope
These terms apply to farms and farm gates, food and produce businesses, accommodation operators, caravan parks, private campsite hosts, attractions and experiences, restaurants and pubs, markets, event and wedding venues, and other approved regional businesses that create, claim or manage a FarmGateRun listing. Operators are responsible for the accuracy, access, facilities, safety, licensing, booking and visitor information relevant to their own listing. Food-safety obligations apply where an operator handles, prepares or sells food; they are not represented as a universal requirement for non-food listings.
11. Business QR code responsibilities
Where enabled, the free Business QR Code Toolkit is available only while the listing is approved, published and claimed and the managing account remains active with a verified email address. Feature availability, download formats and active custom-code limits may change. You must test every QR code before printing or publishing it and may only link to destinations you control or are authorised to promote. A direct custom QR code must use the exact HTTPS destination and cannot be edited after creation. A replacement is a new version, and old printed copies continue to open the old destination. You are responsible for the external page, its availability, content, security, privacy notices and compliance.
12. Traveller Reward responsibilities if offered
You must publish accurate reward terms, fund and honour eligible discounts, train authorised staff, enter eligible purchase amounts accurately and apply the validated discount through your normal checkout. You must not describe a reward as cashback, points, stored value, a FarmGateRun payment or a guaranteed saving outside its published conditions. You remain responsible for the underlying sale, tax invoice, payment, refund, cancellation, Australian Consumer Law and promotional compliance. FarmGateRun does not receive the customer's payment or pay the discount to you.
Country, business identifier and tax information
You must select the correct listing country and provide accurate location and, where requested, ABN information. You are responsible for the laws, registrations, permits, food-safety obligations, consumer obligations and taxes that apply to your business in Australia.
13. Produce Alert responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping Produce Alert product, quantity, price, dates, stock state and pickup details accurate and current. You must promptly mark sold-out or finished produce and reconfirm alerts before their review date. Traveller interest is anonymous demand information, not an order or reservation, and must not be represented as a guaranteed sale. You must not attempt to identify travellers from aggregate or optional planning information.
Private Events and Group Bookings
Businesses must keep offer details, prices, availability, capacity, policies and quotes accurate; protect enquiry information; and confirm bookings directly. FarmGateRun does not collect event payments or become a party to the event agreement. You are responsible for ensuring that your venue, activities, food service, alcohol service, staffing, insurance, permits and safety arrangements comply with applicable laws and regulations.
No-account publication permission
If you use the separate no-account permission route, you confirm that you own the business or are authorised to act for it and that the submitted email address is suitable for confirming the permission. Your permission is limited to the exact nominated public sources and factual business information FarmGateRun uses to write an original listing. Any optional image permission applies only to eligible images the business owns or is licensed to authorise; it never covers customer, photographer, platform or other third-party media. Email confirmation does not bypass FarmGateRun moderation and does not create an account, claim or management access. You may request correction or removal, and ongoing listing management requires the separate verified claim process.
Traveller social links on claimed listings
An approved listing-specific Traveller social link is independent community attribution and not official business content. Claiming a listing does not transfer ownership of the Traveller’s link and does not give the business an approval switch. Businesses and visitors may report unsafe, misleading or unrelated links to FarmGateRun for moderation.
Brand and stockist information
A business user may submit a brand profile and information that a genuine customer-accessible shop, café, retailer or other permitted location normally stocks that brand. By submitting or reconfirming it, the user confirms that they are authorised to represent the brand; the relationship and broad product or range information have a reasonable, current basis; the location is not a duplicate, private residence, non-public warehouse or misleading location; and they will correct, pause or end information that is no longer current. Linking a brand does not make the producer the owner or manager of the retailer listing. The retailer may claim its listing, correct its own details, confirm or dispute a relationship, or opt out. FarmGateRun may review, merge, restrict, pause, reject, remove or retain records to manage accuracy, duplicates, disputes, safety, privacy and platform integrity. Display does not guarantee live inventory or an ongoing supply relationship. FarmGateRun is not a party to any supply, wholesale, retail or payment arrangement.
Private delivery information and Delivery Runs
A business user may store private delivery contact, access, schedule and route-planning information for its own authorised business use. Submit only information reasonably necessary for that purpose, protect account access and do not upload unlawful, abusive or unrelated personal information. Delivery Runs are private planning tools only. FarmGateRun does not accept, dispatch, carry or confirm deliveries and does not create orders, invoices, delivery contracts or proof of delivery.
Free Business Accounts and listings
Creating, claiming and managing standard FarmGateRun listings is free. Standard listings have no charge or checkout step. No payment card, subscription, expiry or plan selection is required.
External Book Online and Order Online links
An eligible claimed business may supply an approved HTTPS link to its own booking or online ordering page, or to a chosen provider. The external business or provider controls that website and handles availability, prices, customer information, bookings, orders, payments, deposits, changes, cancellations, refunds and disputes under its own terms and privacy practices. FarmGateRun does not process the booking, order or payment, does not become a party to the transaction and does not guarantee the external service. A business booking or ordering link does not represent endorsement or guarantee bookings, orders or sales. Businesses are responsible for keeping the destination lawful, accurate, secure and current.
